Folding & Portable Electric Wheelchairs

Compare the weight you will actually lift

Total chair weight, weight without the battery and heaviest-part weight are different measurements. Check which figure is quoted and compare it with what you or your helper can comfortably handle.

• Measure your boot opening and storage space against the folded or dismantled dimensions.
• Check seat size, maximum user weight, controls and suitability for your usual journeys.
• Confirm the battery type, whether it can be removed, the charger supplied and any condition information.
• Check whether folding is manual or powered; portable does not always mean the chair folds.
