The latest addition to Pride’s Quantum range of advanced powerchairs, An improvement on its predecessor, the Edge 2.0 is also fully configurable through the TRU-Balance 3 Seating System, while mid-wheel drive and ATX suspension allow it to excel both indoors and out. 50º of tilt to aid in pressure relief whilst maintaining centre of gravity shift, This is complemented by the TRU-Balance 3 Seating System, which features an amazing amount of with seat widths and depths of 12 – 22 inches available, while the more basic Synergy seating can even cater to 10″ seat widths and depths. Like its predecessor, the Edge 2.0 power base comes with mid-wheel drive, allowing it to turn on the spot with a turning radius of just 20.5 inches – making it incredibly manoeuvrable indoors compared to traditional rear-wheel drive chairs. ATX suspension at both the front and the rear ensures a stable and comfortable ride outside, and the 4-pole motors on the Q6 Edge provide a 4 mph top speed. A range of controls are available for the Edge 2.0 depending on need, including expandable R-Net controllers, and LCD controls, as well as Quantum’s new Q-Logic control system. The Q6 Edge 2.0, however, doesn’t just provide comfort and performance – the Quantum range is known for its stylish looks, and the Edge 2.0 is no exception Finally, the Edge 2.0 is also crash-tested, making it suitable for occupied transportation in an adapted vehicle.
The new Q6 Edge also features advanced ATX Front and Rear Suspension, provide a stable and comfortable ride.
