🌟 KEY FEATURES & BENEFITS
The Freedom Chair A08 is a lightweight folding electric wheelchair that is designed for larger users up to 25 stone or 160kg in weight. The A08 comes with a 19″ seat width to ensure comfort. As the upgrade to the A06 model, the A08 is a larger version that uses stronger motors for a heavier user.
The two electric motors increase to 250 watts each, while up to three batteries can be fitted to the model giving a potential range of up to 27 miles in all and a very respectable top speed of 4mph or 6.5kph.
The A08 powerchair uses 4 coil springs as shock absorbers to remove vibration from rough surfaces. It will manage a climbing gradient of up to 10 degrees and has 2 anti-tip wheels which provide reassuring stability. The large rear wheel comes with PU tyres and drives the electric wheelchair with ease.

When folded this electric wheelchair packs down to a compact, lightweight unit that is very well-suited to wheelchair users who travel regularly. The folded powerchair is easy to lift and place in the boot of a vehicle or the hold of public transport. The complete folding process only takes seconds and the anti-tip wheels easily release, making the whole folded wheelchair compact and relatively lightweight at 27kg.
